Within the West Midlands the Traveline facility is provided through a web site, mobile services(SMS and Nextbuses) and local call centre, operated by West Midlands Transport Information Services Ltd. WMTIS is a jointly owned company with partners representing local bus operators, WMPTE (Centro), Shire County Authorities, and three Unitary Authorities in the region.

We provide details of all bus services registered within the West Midlands region, encompassing Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Telford & Wrekin, Warwickshire, West Midlands County and Worcestershire. Information is also available on public transport links to other areas of the country, details of local rail services and selected coach services.

You can use the same Traveline number, 0871 200 22 33 (Calls cost 10p per minute from a BT landline (UK), charges from other providers of mobiles may vary), to obtain local public transport information wherever you are calling from in the UK.
